We are a General Practice with high standards for patient care. We are all involved in continuing medical education and quality improvement activities through the RACGP.
It is our aim to offer you your choice of doctors. If however this is not possible due to heavy bookings, medical notes are available during the consultation so quality ongoing care is assured. Our doctors support one another and work as a team in your best interests.
We offer an initial longer consultation for new patients where possible. For subsequent consultations our receptionists will ask you how much time you feel you would like to be with the doctor, to meet your requirements. The standard consultation usually lasts between 10 and 20 minutes. Extended consultations may be requested and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Our doctors are all skilled in general medical practice, and each has their own additional special interests.
Dr Fitzmaurice is trained with IMPLANON insertion and removal.
Dr Angela Wang also speaks Mandarin and Cantonese.
We generally ask those requiring prescriptions to attend for consultation as this provides the safest and best care for your health.
Discussions with our doctors are best done face to face. Telephone contact must be limited in the interests of the optimal care of patients being attended to. This will help limit interruptions during your time with doctor.

Located in the Professional Centre, with Curry Chemist opposite WESTFIELD, next to the Tennis Courts, we are in the right hand back (SW) corner of the courtyard. There is limited parking beneath and behind the building (enter traveling West on Edgeworth David Ave) but many patients prefer to park in Westfield, and do their shopping at the same time. Our Hornsby GP doctors are readily available by appointment for your convenience. Please contact our friendly receptionists (8 AM - 6 PM Mon-Fri or 8-12 Saturday morning) who will assist you.

BULK BILLING is available for most consultations. Overseas visitors or those services not covered by Medicare are charged privately.
We do not have an email facility at this time as we believe it is in the best interests of those who are unwell or need medical care to be seen face to face.
We are happy to care for individuals and families, young, older and those in between. Our goal is your health and wellbeing.
For those in residential aged care or who are on particular occasions unable to attend for consultations, we attempt to accommodate your needs, providing that you are located within a reasonable distance from the surgery.
Whatever your health issue, we are willing to assist you in a caring, respectful and friendly manner.
Appointments are necessary to assure efficient care but walk in patients may on occasions be accepted where necessary as assessed by the practice staff and depending on practitioner availability.
Patient information is securely stored and accessible in confidence by practice doctors and staff in accord with privacy legislation.
